Episode Pack 2

Episode Pack 2 is now here! Here are the new improvements to the game in this version:

70 New questions

In addition to the 39 new questions in Episode 4, 5, and 6 combined, we also bring 31 new questions available from the “Random Questions” episode. There’s also a new question type!

Cheat code menu

You now have a cheat code menu! To skip ahead and unlock Episode 4, unlock all episodes, remove the pause penalty, or enable other cheats, enter the special key combination in the title screen (available on the official webpage).

Achievements

You now have achievements to collect! 23 achievemnts in total that you can work to complete.

Download questions ahead of time

A widely requested feature in Episode Pack 1 was to pre-download the questions ahead of time, so that it can be played offline. Now you can! In the episode select screen, press the top face button (Space bar) while your desired episode is selected. It will show you how many questions need to be downloaded, and you can decide to download them or not.

New disclaimer screen

When booting up the game without a save data, a new disclaimer screen is shown to the player.

Improved Webapp

The phones-as-controllers webapp has also gone through some changes:

Login page

• People entering their nickname with an IME should no longer have letters repeated while composing.

• The nickname input box now allows entering text over the character count limit, but not accept it.

• The nickname input box now makes the text red when the nickname is not valid.

• The “Join room” button’s activation state now better reflects both the room’s existence and the nickname’s validity.

• The controller now detects when the room has been closed or inactive, and prompts the user to reload the page.

Salty Trivia

• Added support for the new question type.

• Corrected a bug when multiple All Outta Salt questions are in the same episode (not intended to be possible).

• Lifesaver display and button are made more accurate.

• Italic text in Sorta Kinda and All Outta Salt now display correctly.
